4. Google Drive / Google Workspace Data Structure
Many College Companion products operate through Google Sheets and related Google Workspace tools.
Customer organizations create and manage their own copies of spreadsheets and related files within their own Google Drive or Google Workspace environments. As a result:
Student educational data is generally stored within the customer’s Google-controlled environment rather than on College Companion-hosted servers.
Access permissions and sharing settings are controlled by the customer organization.
College Companion does not automatically access, monitor, or store student educational records contained within customer-managed spreadsheets.
Access to specific spreadsheets or student information only occurs if a customer intentionally shares documents for troubleshooting, onboarding, or support purposes.
Customers are responsible for managing their own Google Workspace or Google Drive sharing settings and user permissions.

We use third-party providers to support our business operations, including services such as:
